Volara Nutrition was spending about $18,400 a month on Amazon ads and growing revenue 8% a year. Six products carried the business and were getting 22% of the budget. Nobody inside the company could tell us which campaigns were responsible for either number.
We rebuilt the account around what actually earned money, cut 112 campaigns down to 22, and fixed the three listings that were losing conversions before we bought them any more traffic. Nine months later the numbers look like this.
Sentinel Digital has grown through word of mouth, on the back of what our clients went on to do. Their numbers are the only pitch we have.
Reviews collected from clients at the end of each engagement quarter.
We came to Sentinel after two agencies that both sent beautiful monthly decks and neither of which could tell me what a unit actually earned us. The difference here is that the first conversation was about our cost of goods, not our ad spend. They rebuilt the account around six products instead of twenty four, and the six that mattered got the budget the other eighteen had been quietly eating. I still get a short note every Tuesday telling me what changed and what they are doing about it. Three years of agencies, and that is the thing I would not give up.
Sentinel Digital is a marketplace agency run by people who sold on Amazon with their own money at stake. We are eight specialists, we take a limited number of accounts, and we say no when the calendar is full.
Advertising, audits, retail media, and creative, run as one account rather than four departments. Every engagement starts by rebuilding profit per product with fees and ad spend allocated properly, because nothing else can be trusted until that exists.
We sat through the monthly agency call with the green arrows on it and no answer to whether the business made money. That gap is still everywhere. We built Sentinel to be the partner we wanted then: direct, on a flat fee, and answerable to the P&L.

Branded search flatters every report it appears in. Here is how to strip it out, and what the number underneath usually looks like.
Operations
Dimension mistakes, unclaimed reimbursements, and storage on products that should have been liquidated two quarters ago.
Retail media
Content quality score, shipping speed, and price competitiveness all feed placement. Copying your Amazon catalogue across ignores all three.
Thirty minutes, no deck. Bring your ad spend and roughly what your cost of goods looks like.
You get a short written note afterwards with two or three things worth doing, whether or not you ever hire us. Several brands have taken that note and done the work themselves.
Established sellers and DTC brands moving into marketplaces, usually doing between $400,000 and $6m a year. Under about $6,000 a month in ad spend, a managed service costs more than it returns, and we will tell you that on the first call.
You get a named strategist who owns the account and sits on the weekly call, plus direct access to the specialists in a shared Slack channel. Nobody relays messages between you and the people doing the work.
Weekly. SentinelIQ pulls sales, advertising, and fee data into one view of contribution margin per unit, and the numbers arrive with a written note on what changed and what we are doing about it. Twenty five minutes on a Tuesday, not a forty page deck.
A flat monthly fee for management and a fixed fee for audits and projects. We never take a percentage of ad spend, because that arrangement pays an agency to spend more of your money.
The first quarter is committed, because a restructure needs about eight weeks before its numbers mean anything. After that it rolls on ninety days.
Not in the same subcategory on the same marketplace. If there is a conflict we will say so at the first call rather than after you have signed.
